Chalk Paint® very rarely requires any preparation, such as sanding or priming, and can be used indoors or outside, on just about any surface. Chalk Paint® can be used to paint wood, it can be used to paint metal, it can be used to paint melamine, it can be used to paint flooring, it can be used to dye fabric, and it can even be used to paint glass! Chalk Paint® is suitable for beginners and for furniture painting professionals alike; it’s the fool-proof furniture paint which can be used to create any look you require. Chalk Paint: 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 140 square ft. 500ml is enough to cover approximately 70 square ft. Please note, Pure may require additional coats to achieve opacity, due to its colourant-free nature. Keep in mind, if you’re painting over a dark colour, you may require further coverage to achieve desired opacity. Porous surfaces such as brick may also require additional coats. This should be factored in when considering your quantity. Please be reminded that Chalk Paint requires a protective coat of either Wax or Lacquer, sold separately.
