It works great. There is no adapter cord but works perfect with batteries. Lights work and music. Pieces were/are broken. A few are glued on. So please purchase knowing it is not flawless. The little man has no head, part of a man is missing the back of his head and then the camel is broken off with missing legs. There is about 5 other pieces that were glued back on.
