Description: Thomas Eakins by Fairfield Porter - Great American Artists Series 1959 1st Ed NM Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. This book is in NEAR MINT condition. The spine is unbroken. The book has been in a clear plastic dust jacket for decades. Actual front and back boards have very minimal damage. No marks or highlighting in text except for a signature in pencil on the front inside page. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Cover lies flat. Some color photographs. Illustrated, collectible, 1st edition PB. This book is in NEAR MINT condition. It has been in a clear plastic cover for decades. We NEVER remove those clear covers as those who follow us know. This book had the covers tacked down with masking tape. Eeek! The masking tape left a shadow on the opposite page. But inside, so it won't show! With this book, we can peek under the clear cover, and while we have old eyes, it looks to be in amazing condition except for a yellow stain on the back cover, above the blue box. The old scotch tape on the books are under the clear cover, and have come loose. It appears to have NOT damaged the cover in any way. This is also an ex-library book from back when people didn't mess with other people's things. There is a library stamp and Dewey-ish numbers on the title page. And there is a library card envelop glued into the back, also with a stamp. That is all we see. Please assume we missed something. Please see pictures. Please NOTE: Old books are heavy books. Safe shipping may move them into the next postal category. Sorry! Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures. Also, please NOTE: Almost every book has a smudge somewhere. We mention it if we see it, but please assume we missed something. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is 5912226. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry! Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you have fun and stay with us. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges! Please help us recycle these lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
