Description: I'm a retired Geology University Lecturer with over 40 years experience preparing thin sections from my extensive collection of rock samples. I now have to reduce the amount as they are taking up too much space at home. So, I can now offer this unique and novel thin section preparation service to anyone who wants to add unique sections to their own collections. This is batch 1, more to follow. From the any chosen sample a hand-made thin section will be prepared on request and dispatched within 3-4 working days. All thin sections will be standard thickness, covered by a protective glass slip and fully labelled. Alway happy to combine postage to keep costs down. I can also, extend this service to anyone who has their own samples that they wished to be sectioned.
