Description: Up for sale is a very scarce complete 12 volume set of the “Works of Eugene Fields” as published by Charles Scribner’s & Sons, 1904-1905. Please read all condition details below. CONDITION & DETAILS : This set is in overall Very Good condition but it is quite fragile and should be handled lightly and with care. In particular, The front cover of volume seven has started and is loose, but still just attached. It could benefit from perhaps some adhesive or supporting archival tape. There is some slight flaking of the leather to the spine edges of a few volumes here and there, but otherwise solid and still tight copies. It also appears there are a few pages in a couple volumes, which apparently were uncut when published. The original owner tried to separate them causing a few small chips or tears to the paper as shown in photo # 12 & 13. This is minimal and otherwise all the books are super clean internally.
