Description: The Wonder Book of Aircraft (1927, Hardcover) 12 Colour Plates (Harry Golding) - This 240+ page hardcover, which is close to 100-years-old, contains 12 Colour Plates and almost 250 illustrations. The book is in good, not great, condition. The cover, and all pages, which are cream-colored with slightly tanning edges, are attached (with the exception of Colour Plate "Luxury in Air Travel" Faces p. 16 which is detached but present). The front cover has a chipped left-hand corner, the top edge has some color loss, the top right-hand corner has an approx. 1/4" crease, wear and rounding, the right-hand edge has color loss, tearing and color loss, the spine has an approx. 1/2" tear under the wheel, the bottom edge has color loss, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 1" crease, wear, and paper loss; the inside cover has been colored in crayon, the spine stitching - though intact - is splitting; the back inside cover bottom portion has been colored in crayon; the back cover has wear and rounding at all corners, there is color loss at the top and bottom edges; the binding has some paper loss at both top and bottom edges.
