Description: "The Wayfarers: Meher Baba with The God-intoxicated" is an irregularly paginated (around 480 page), 7.25"x10" hardcover written by William Donkin and published in 1969 (this is the second edition) by Sufism Reoriented (San Francisco). It first appeared circa 1948. The book is in good condition. The dust jacket is rubbed and faded, with various small spots, edge wear (including several small tears). The green cloth boards show light edge wear, mild bumps to the top corners. There's a small pencil mark to the first page. The binding is tight. A folded "Map showing the work of Meher Baba with Advanced Souls" is laid in. Synopsis:The Wayfarers is the only book of its kind. It chronicles in the finest detail what was a major part of spiritual master, Meher Baba's work during his lifetime: contacting hundreds of those who are called "masts" in the East, spiritually advanced souls so enthralled with their yearning for union with God that they lose touch with the ordinary world.
