A Google search can provide interested parties a fair amount of information and photos regarding this business. This one of a kind item, as the decal on the front the lined book, which indicates that this a Minutes book from, the origins in 1902 until the late 1940s. Although one of last documents is dated 1951. There are many pages of hand-written minutes and tipped in typed documents of various types. It appears that the laundry was founded by a James Tolman, Edward Tolman, Frederick MacKenzie and some others, the included documents indicate that by the 1930s people with the last names of MacKenzie were the primary owners and operators. In total there are approx. 75 pages of handwritten notes and information and inserted typed documents. The documents outnumber the handwritten entries by a bit.
