Description: Normal.dotm 0 0 1 104 595 Southern Connecticut State University 4 1 730 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This approximately 7” x 9” print on cardboard is titled “The Suffragette.” It pictures a forlorn boy pressed into service for a tea party by a little girl and contains the printed signature of Walter Darr. The image comes from a contemporaneous postcard and is a duplicate of a similar piece that I have in my own collection. It is in good to very good condition, mildly toned with a small chip in the bottom right. A nice rare item for any collector of suffrage, votes for women, suffragist, suffragette, or women’s rights material. If you are interested in further information about suffrage collectibles, please consult my book Women’s Suffrage Memorabilia—An Illustrated Historical Study, currently on sale on eBay.
