Description: Up for sale is "The Steam Engine.." by Rev. Dionysius Lardner. Stated 6th edition published 1836. Engravings that are called for in the back on the slip are all present and more or less placed where they should be. Neat piece. Nice illustrations. Biggest issue are boards which are present but detached and spine which is gone. Stain to the first few pages bottom right is fairly large. Damage to front piece and title page at top. After the first several pages the book is in pretty nice shape and the engravings are all present and in good condition. Some other dings here and there but a decent copy. Probably fair overall.
