The gold gilt lettering and design is beautiful. The leather spine is chipped over the title (see picture). It has "940" written in black ink at the bottom edge of the spine. The leather corners are lightly bumped and worn. The outer page edges have a beautiful marbled design. The binding is tight. The pages are in very good condition. There are 5 pages with 1/4" tears. It is an ex-library book and has markings on the front fly page (see picture) and on the back fly page. There is a light moisture stain at the top 1/2" - 1" corner of the back half of the book.
