It is a jacket with a cause much bigger than itself. ** Very Good Preowned Condition Overall, the jacket is in excellent preowned condition. All the mechanics are 100% and there are no rips or tears. All parts and pieces are intact. There are no major stains. All wear and tear is cosmetic, superficial, and pretty much inconspicuous in nature - there is no substantial damage and nothing terribly noticeable to insult the eye. However, there are some signs of normal wear when you start to inspect the fabric up close. The polyester shell is a bit wrinkly-crinkly. The Velcro closure strips have lost that new, crisp feel (still work perfectly, but there’s something about new Velcro and the way it adheres with such devotion that used Velcro just can’t duplicate). Also, the Velcro closure strips have pink lint/miscellaneous pink material stuck onto them, most notably on the left hand side if you’re facing the front of the jacket. Good news is that the pink residue does not impact functionality whatsoever. Also, multiple white areas on the exterior coat show dirt. Same with the ends of each sleeve, in this case impacting the inner jacket along with the outer. These flaws are purely cosmetic, very minor, do not impair functionality, do not in any way impact the smart appearance of the coat, and are simply the result of normal wear and tear. I tend to make things sound worse than they are, so don’t be deterred. It’s my way of making sure that you’re happy with the condition when you unpack the item. It also merits mentioning that while the coat has been laundered and is clean and ready for the next little owner, I have not attempted any spot treatment or other mitigation. It might be possible to remove the dirt with a spot remover (like Mr. Clean?) or a bleach based oxidizer (like Oxyclean?). These are recommendations off the top of my head and I cannot guarantee if they are applicable to this scenario or a good match for the fabric type and dirt load. Please make sure to read all tags and labels and check with the manufacturer, if necessary. But, that said, if you feel comfortable in this arena, you might very well be able to thoroughly whiten all dirty white areas on the exterior of the coat. PROTECTION, STORAGE & PRESERVATION, OH MY!
