Halfway through, the real Abraham Lincoln is resurrected to help them, and then it turns out the whole thing was an alien plot and... oh, nevermind...I like to think of The New Adventures of Abraham Lincoln as a "noble failure." The consensus of comics fans at the time seemed to be that "failure" was description enough. Lately though, fans of the book have been coming out of hiding a bit more often, so maybe history won't be so harsh on it in the long run. Maybe...
