Description: London: Stanley Paul & Co.Philadelphia: David McKay Company. 12mo., pp.336, 18cm; Frontis, Embossed dark green boards with black lettering on spine, boards are rubbed and bumped with some areas of discoloration, one area is a ring as if a cup had been placed on it, faded top-stain, front hinge appears to have been cut but not completely, mesh underneath still holds and is uncut above and below, toning and light foxing on endpapers, else a clean copy. Nice example of this harder to find Dumas title. It is believed that this edition originally was published with a DJ but this copy is missing it. No stated edition, but presumed a first in this format.
