Modelled initially on the Andrews Sisters, the three sisters from Ohio, Christine, Dorothy and Phyllis, learnt to sing together in the church where their mother was a minister, and got their break via the famed Arthur Godfrey Talent Show. They had their first hits in 1954, going on to rack up over 40 Billboard and Cash Box chart entries through to 1962, with several making the UK charts. This great value 54-track 2-CD set, with extensive booklet notes and discographical and chart information, includes all those hits, plus a selection of their other popular A & B sides released on the Coral label during that time. It naturally includes their landmark No. 1 hits "Sincerely" and "Sugartime".
