The work was first published in magazine form in Germany in 1952 as a special issue. This book is a first edition in English, published by the University of Illinois Press in 1953. Covers are gray boards with black print. Covers and spine are solid and tight with light handling and shelving wear. Back cover has discoloring at the board edges. Prior owner’s name (a former engineering professor) is stamped inside the front and back of the book on the first page and on the last endpaper. No other writing found in book.
