This volume does not include the separate book, written as a prequel, The Hobbit, which technically is not part of the trilogy. Book is in good condition with no writing, no highlighting, no marginal notes. The Binding is tight. There is some page yellowing in the first few pages and at page edges, but nothing that interferes with legibility. There is minor creasing on the back cover at edges. Very minor evidence of a former adhesive price sticker on the spine. The cover is glossy and in my photos you will see some reflection of the cameral and lights; those are not actually on the cover.
