Description: The Life of the Mountains by Maurice Brooks. Published in 1967by McGraw-Hill Book Company in cooperation with The World Book Encyclopedia. This is a first edition and is signed and inscribed in the reverse of the ffep by the author. The book itself is in very good condition for its age. Boards and spine tips have been bumped resulting in small closed tear at top upper corner of front board. Reverse of ffep has former bookseller notations along with 1989 inscription and signature of author. Pages appear to be relatively clean. Pages near end of book have age toning. Otherwise, book appears to be in relatively great condition. The dust jacket is in good + only condition for its age with wear, rubbing, chipping with loss, tape at top of folds on verso, creasing, soiling, staining, etc. Please see pictures to judge condition for yourself.
