Roger's trip to Edinburgh on behalf of the Society, a lengthy report from the Pointe-Aux-Trembles Schools.The French Canadian Missionary Society was founded in 1839 in Montreal, composed of evangelical ministers and laymen. The Society thrived for about forty years, and was determined to evanglize the French Roman Catholic population in Canada. This was attepted through evangelistic preaching, the distribution of literature, and education.
