All pages are clean and tight, except the first page of Volume 1, which has previous owner’s name written in ink. The cover shows wear, especially at the edges. I do not know if the cover condition can be improved with gentle cleaning; to be honest, I am afraid to do anything to these antiques! There is also discoloration (foxing) on the page edge. These books came from my mother-in-law’s home and have been in my home for 20+ years now. I have others in the series. Both homes smoke-free and pet-free.
