It does show signs of handling wear, such as creasing on a few pages as well as page tanning. There is writing on the rear free endpaper and two previous owners have left stamps on the dustjacket flap, the front free endpaper, the half-title page and the title page, and a bookstore that previously sold it had a sticker affixed to the front pastedown endpaper. The dustjacket has been through the wringer, suffering large chips and tears and about 2 inches of it is missing from the spine, but it has since been wrapped in mylar to salvage what remains of it.
