Description: LIMITED EDITION PRINT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH & TOWN HALL in KINGSTON UPON HULL UK 3/100 as it appeared in its original form in THE GRAPHIC newspaper volume XXV no 641 March 11 1882.These drawings are not commercial stock issue! They comprise this genuine limited edition print, 3/100 written in pencil in the bottom right hand corner. It was a fascinating period in British history and I encourage you to view the image of The Graphic Engraving Studio (1882) in the Spartacus Educational website, which shows artists hard at work, producing drawings for inclusion in The Graphic newspaper at that time. Many artists simply were known as belonging to The English School (of artists); some of whom went on to become famous in their careers. Such artists included: Fildes, Houghton, Holl, Milas and Von Herkomer. One image of The Town Hall bears the signature, HWR, whereas the others remain unsigned. This drawing print has been professionally framed in 2004, is in excellent condition; the frame is solid, with a few scuff marks, commensurate with its age. Very collectable piece of English history! Dimensions: 15" x 20" (40 cm x 51 cm) frame; 9.5" x 13" (22.5 cm x 33 cm) print. Postage is via Australia Post, to anywhere in Australia for $18. I am happy to offer combined postage with my other items, which include additional art architectural drawing prints and paintings. International sales are welcome. Any taxes incurred and overseas postal rates apply. So rare!
