While history paints Rockefeller as a dictorial snob and of the priviledged, he actually cared deeply for his Country. Federalism at the time was looked upon as capitalism by more liberal-thinking people. In his book Rockefeller notes, in the first chapter, of Professor Laski, who was lecturing in the United States at the time and some believe it prompted Rockefeller to write this book. The book is in vg-f condition, for 61 years old. The Harvard Press hadn't published many copies, though it proved popular both on and off campus, prompting a second printing, which this book is one of them. Due to its theme, condition, who wrote it and why I have priced it accordingly. An excellent example of US Political History.
