The front endpaper is stamped "Ernest H. Denicke." It is unknown if this was the Ernest H. Denicke (1876-1959) that was tried for manslaughter for a death that occurred during the San Francisco fire in 1906. Condition: Book is in near fine condition. Binding is square and tight. Pages are lightly toned and clean with no markings. Small store sticker on the rear endpaper. Boards are clean. Rear board has slight discoloration near the spine. Corners are square.
