You're looking at an excellent condition book which is RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and Part Eight of "The Delphian Course," a complete Liberal Arts Education published in Ten Volumes--the book is a 1922 Fourth Printing published by The Delphian Society and a HARDCOVER with no dustjacket as issued. This book is in excellent condition and the book has some light scuffing on the spine end and in a few spots on the covers, very light dings on the spine and opening tips, a removed blank first page of the book, two "uncut" table of contents pages attached to each other at the right edge (this is completely normal in a book of this vintage), a couple of light scuffs on the otherwise clear gold gilt upper page edge, a small crease on the lower right tip of p 497 and just light shelfwear and light evidence of gentle browsing otherwise but NO other significant imperfections--the book has NO markings on the pages and is a very nice copy! The book is titled The Delphian Course: A Systematic Plan of Education, Embracing the World's Progres and Development of the Liberal Arts--Part Eight: English History / Poetry and Prose / Western Europe and it was published by The Delphian Society in 1922 and is a 4th Printing copy.A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding!
