Description: The Clansman by Thomas Dixon Jr. Photo-Play edition of The Birth of a NationFirst Edition, 1905Original and authenticHardcover IMPORTANT CONDITION DETAILS: Pre-owned, antique condition. I rate this in acceptable condition. It has notable damage and wear. The dust cover has damage including rips, tatters and tears. The underside has discoloration and staining. The books cover has staining along the front, especially year the front along the spine. It has a slinter hole on the front cover right along the spine (see picture). The inside of the front cover has staining along the binding. Other pages have faint discoloration. There's some minor pencil markings in the front cover pages. No pages are missing and the binding is solid on the plus side. It has a musty odor and a smell of mouthballs from years of storage. This smell likely will at the very least reduce overtime and you may be able to take steps to reduce or eliminate it. I will leave that to the buyer. Sold as is.
