Description: This is a vintage first edition book about Bill Mauldin called The Brass Ring. He was an editorial cartoonist. The book is a hardcover published by W. W. Norton and company in 1971. The book comes with a separate print of one of his Pulitzer Prize winning cartoons. The book inside is very nice, clean, no writing, all pages (though yellowed a bit) are tightly attached to the spine. The red board papers do not have cracks. The blue boards are very nice and clean, but do have light wear to edges, corners and spine. The dust jacket has tears at the top and bottom of edges and top and bottom of spine. Please see all photos before purchase. The separate print also has some yellowing. Great book filled with a lot of his illustrations, photographs and cartoons.
