The Bible: A New Translation by James Moffatt (Harper & Brothers, 1954)

Description: CONDITION: There is a small square-shaped surface tear on the front endpaper that was created when a small store label was removed. No writing or underlining. The gilt edges are scratched but the gold color is good. The cover is rubbed/scraped at the corners and there is a nick at the top of the spine. The cover also has a few "dry" areas where the black color has lightened a little bit (see photos 6 & 7). The back cover was partially bent along the right side, and as a result, it sits up very slightly on that side. Overall, I would say the bible is in good condition for its age. 5" x 7-1/4" x 1-1/2" hardcover
