The Best of Tiger Hunting by John Batten (1986, 2 Vol Set, Signed, Limited Ed.)

Description: A good condition 2 Volume box set of 'The Best of Tiger Hunting' by John Batten. This is a Limited Edition signed and numbered set bound in a leatherette. This set is #445 of 1,000 published by The Amwell Press for The National Sporting Fraternity Limited. Volume One is signed by author John Batten, illustrator Peter Darro, and National Sporting Fraternity Limited President Jim Rikhoff. The slipcase has some spots of rub wear from storage, mostly along the edges and corners. There is one small nick along the bottom edge and the bottom right corner on the opened ended side has a small tear with a piece of the leatherette loose. Although there is some wear to the slipcase, there is no major damage. The outside of the books, themselves, have a small amount of tiny nicks to the spine. The bottom corners of Volume Two has a little bending from bumping, and a small tear to the leatherette to the front corner. There are also a few other tiny spots of light rub wear along the edges. The gold gilding to the page edges show little to no signs of wear. Inside there is some light pencil marking in the upper corner of the signed page from a previous price marking and book info, and should easily come off with a soft white white eraser if desired. Besides that there is no other writing or markings to any of the other pages besides the signatures. There are no bends or folds to any of the pages. Only some pages at the front an back look to have signs of being opened, but the vast majority of pages don't appear to have been read. A set with a little wear from storage and light use, but overall still in very nice condition with no major issues. Safely and securely packaged and shipped via USPS Media Mail.
