Thus, for example, an explicitly formulated scientific theory may conceivably contradict implicit, or unconscious, underlying assumptions. It is to convey this blend of psychological and logical considerations characteristic of this viewpoint that the term "psycho-logic" has been coined. In the light of this approach it becomes possible to give an integrated discussion of a number of basic problems that are encountered in the sciences, mathematics and philosophy.
