Description: This large 18" x 14" giclee reproduction artist proof is a reproduction of an original pencil drawing of mine. Andy personally approved of my artwork of his show years ago, and I have had personal contact with most of the actors of TAGS over the years; doing Mayberry shows in 1998 and 1999, where my artwork was autographed for me personally by the actors of TAGS that were in attendance. The photographs above shows Don Knotts (Barney) and George Lindsey (Goober) signing artwork of mine (I'm standing in the middle of them) for their auction for The Children's Miracle Network in 1998, which I, in turn, donated the prints for the charity auction. The 50th anniversary print is personally signed by me as the artist. Andy Griffith personally approved this final piece, which is the only portrait art he ever approved. Please know that it has the approved Andy Griffith Show logo on the print, which is rare. Also know, you are buying this from me, the artist, so I can "personalize" the print if you wish.
