Description: This antique book is titled "The American Farmer's Pictorial Cyclopedia of Live Stock, Horses, Cattle, Swine, Sheep and Poultry Including Departments On Dogs and Bees: Being Also A Complete Stock Doctor." I purchased this 1156 page book at an auction in Lancaster County, PA. The yellow post-it, which can be easily removed, has some details left by the previous owner about this book. It was there when I bought it. It has a half leather cover with marbled page ends. The illustrations are beautiful and useful. I believe this book is dated from 1882. This book is missing the title page and the first 32 pages have folds, tape and repairs, but after page 32 the pages are tight but do have some soiling from use.
