Description: The warm-colored 100 Thai baht note is part of the seventeenth series of banknotes issued by the Government of Thailand. The seventeenth series all feature the new king of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, wearing the Royal Thai Air Force uniform on the obverse side. This notes obverse side also features the Royal Garuda emblem. Its reverse side features Chulalongkorn and Vajiravudh, the fifth and sixth king of Thailand respectively, whose reigns focused on modernizing Siam and promoting the assimilation of different cultural groups to Central Thai. The security features of the note are a windowed security thread with demetalized 100 BAHT, a watermark of Rama X, and an electrotype watermark 100. The note measures 150 mm long and 72 mm wide.
