Description: This auction is for a teal blue green, iron pontil, sloping shoulder, blob top, soda or mineral water bottle that is embossed Union Glass Works, Philada just above the base and below the blank slug plates on the both sides. This bottle stands 7 1/8 inches tall, an excellent dug example, with great color, that has not been tumbled. This bottle was excavated in Philadelphia in the mid 1970s on one of the 5 major construction projects going on in the city at that time and are now fresh to the market.
