Description: Tangerine Tiger/ Peacock cichlid mix breed juveniles. 5 months old at the time of this post born October 2023. Parents are as pictured. Sizes range from 1"-3". Some are more tangerine some are more blue, message me with preference upon order. Buy 4 get one free! These are captive bred African cichlids that are native to lake Malawi. These fish are semi aggressive so acceptable tank mates should either be other African cichlids or have an aggressive temperament as well. They enjoy strong current and their recommended tank size is 40 to 50 gallons and greater. These were raised on brine shrimp and beef heart and are very interactive when acclimated especially during feeding time. Adding Malawi lake salt and 7.5-8.5 ph buffer recommended for optimal enviorment but not required. Water parameters they are raised in are as follows: ppm: between 200-300 ph: 8-8.5 temp: 80 degrees Fahrenheit When purchasing to ship please keep in mind extreme weather conditions.
