This ultimate machine features a 6-cylinder engine, a remarkable piece of engineering with a 250cc displacement and a parallel 6-cylinder DOHC 4-valve mechanism. This 4-stroke engine produces over 60 horsepower at an astonishing 18,000 RPM. Driven by the legendary Mike Hailwood, the RC166 won all 10 races it entered, showcasing its overwhelming strength and securing both the Rider and Manufacturer titles in 1966. Additionally, this machine was instrumental in Honda's sweep of all five classes in the World Road Racing GP that year. Now, this legendary machine, which wrote a brilliant chapter in Honda's racing history, is brought to life in 1/12 scale using the latest molding technology. Model Specifications This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 166mm, Width: 43mm. The wheels feature a matte chrome finish with separate parts for the rims and finely detailed spokes, made of ABS resin. The air-cooled parallel 6-cylinder engine is modeled with deep cooling fins, achieved through layered parts for a highly detailed appearance. The slim fairing is represented with realistic one-piece molding, capturing even the subtle lines. The tires, made of solid rubber, realistically replicate the triangular cross-section typical of the 1960s. The air ducts for the drum brakes, cowl snaps, and chain slider are expressed with etched parts, and rivets are depicted using inlet marks.
