Description: Tamaya Sextant Traditional Japanese Navigation Instrument As-is Description This is a Tamaya sextant. The 7×35 monocular has some dirt on the lens but is still usable. However, the other monocular, which is in a rod shape, has a damaged lens, and the lens has fallen off, so it will need repair. The sextant's mirror shows signs of deterioration, but it still functions. The adjustment tools are included. The small light bulb used for checking the scale seems to be burned out, as it did not light up even when a battery was inserted. It appears to have been used on a ship, as the name written on the back of the handle has been scraped off. The key for the wooden box is missing.
