The pearls are light-hued at the ends, graduating in color intensity toward a center that is a lovely shade of deep green with purple overtones. These Tahitian pearls are all-natural in color, not having been dyed, treated nor enhanced in any way. They exhibit high luster. Pearl sizes range from 9.4 to 13.5mm. A to AA surface grading (at least 60% clean with 25% containing minor blemishes and 15% deep imperfections, all naturally-occurring). These pearls are a mix of near-rounds, ovals and drops. Some pearls may have circles on them adding to their texture and character. Measures approximately 18 inches in length, as a loose strand. When fully knotted and affixed with a clasp, the strand may extend to approximately 20 inches, a matinee necklace length lying past the collar bone and just above the bust. This length is appropriate enough to showcase the lovely ombre features of this necklace. The photos in this listing show this necklace as a loose strand yet (not knotted between the pearls). However, upon purchase, this strand will be knotted for you and fitted with a 14KW fish hook clasp. You will be receiving a finished, hand-knotted necklace that is approximately 20-inches long.
