Description: Offered is this sweet little 10 1/2" tall Simon Halbig 1079 doll on fully jointed composition and wood body. The doll is in great condition aside from the fact that the inner neck cardboard is missing, thus her head goes too deep into the socket. This can be fixed, I just don't have the time to take it on right now. She has a bisque socket head with the original blown glass blue sleep eyes. They retain their full lid wax while sleeping. Lots of tiny fine printed eyelashes surround her eye cuts. Open mouth with four tiny upper teeth. Nice facial coloring. Pierced ears, she is lacking earrings. Her right ear has a factory mold flaw as you can see in the pictures. Her body is a nice wood and composition fully jointed body with the original finish. Normal wear as one would expect with an antique body. All fingers present. Straight wrists.She has a wonderful original long brown wig with curls. Original pate as well. She just needs someone to dress her :).
