In 2020, Mattel honored Schiffer on her 50th birthday with dolls of her amazing runway looks. One of them featured an iconic cerulean gown, inspired by one she wore at the 1994 Fall/Winter Atelier Versace show. Now, we’ve created a version of that doll and her gown for fans to add to their own collections. “Working on recreating the 1994 Atelier Versace gown in Barbie scale was a fun challenge,” says designer Carlyle Nuera. “I studied any photo I could find and watched videos of the runway show over and over.”
