This beautiful Victorian Slant Front Desk breaks down into two pieces for shipping purposes and has elegant details that would be the perfect accent piece for any room of your home. A lovely top shelf, along with a second shelf, provides display opportunity. You will notice the beautiful recessed burl panel behind the second shelf and the elegant pierced undulating beveled edge side support sconces. This shelf configuration is perfect for displaying your special books or collectibles. Next, you will notice the elegant slant front desk door front that is adorned with a luscious burl panel encased in picture frame moulding and graced in the center with a masterfully carved foliate scrolled geometric applique. This elegant slant front door has a fancy carved wooden key escutcheon and an intact lock with a working key to assist in opening. Speaking of opening, this elegant slant front door opens to reveal a golden olive felt writing surface that is in good condition and on-trend with contemporary home décor hues.
