Description: These earrings were made by Boutique Designer / Jeweler Sue Gray. They are Gothic styled earrings made using a historical wax seal (which you can see in the first photo). Based on the design and symbolism in the entire seal, this set represents a widow and her husband. One earring has a woman in a dress and the other earring is a skeleton, representing her late husband. The earrings were originally purchased by a family member in 2017, but were never worn. The earrings are Sterling Silver with the original designers earring holder intact. They are dangle earrings that have about 1.25" hang from the ear to the bottom of the earrings. The decorative part of the earring is about 7/8" long and 1/4" wide. The earrings are oxidized for an aged look. Also, the earrings patina is evident too! You can see that comparing the first photo (which is an original photo saved of the earrings when they were purchased) to other later photos which were taken for the listing. It is up to you to keep the patina intact or polish them. Please do not polish the earring until unless you keep them, please! The patina is generally an important part of the look!
