Both watchmakers were excellent people and great caretakers of their time pieces. I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors. It doesn't take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running ( many times just a week or so ) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside so please understand I can only tell you how the watch is performing here.
