Description: A stunning and very unusual porcelain centerpiece from mid- to late 19th century by Ernst Bohne and Son. The centerpiece is in the shape of of a tree trunk with three platforms on its branches on top of which there are small removable flower/plant pots with holes for water drainage. In between the branches there is figure of a cherub with a flower bouquet. The centerpiece is adorned with lots of flowers. Please note that there are condition issues: One of the pot platforms has repairs; there is a chip on the tree trunk; some petals and leaves have chips. Still a very unusual, compelling and unique piece of antique porcelain. Measures approximately 12.75"H to the top of the highest pot; platforms are about 3.75" in diameter; pots are 3.25" in diameter measured on top; the piece is approximately 13.25"-13.5" wide.
