Description: This listing is for this handmade, hand-turned ceramic casserole bowl with its lid. It is artist-signed on the bottom. The colors are green, brown, and dark gray, nearly black. It features handles on its sides and lid. There are a couple of very minor chips, mainly located on the center rim, as seen in the pictures. I cook with several clay pots, and it is commonplace to chip the inner rim with use. However, clay cookware produces amazing-tasting food, especially when baked in the oven at lower temperatures. The coloring of this item is gorgeous, earthy and rustic. The glazing is textured. It measures approximately 9 1/4" across at its handles, is 6 1/8" tall, and holds about six cups. It weighs just over four pounds and is substantial. Please see the pictures, feel free to ask questions, and thanks for looking.
