Description: This well-built, heavy (43 pounds!) sewing machine works; as you can see from the stitched fabric in the photos (front and back) that I did myself. That said, it needs some TLC to bring it back to full glory. It does reverse, but I haven't tried zig zag and not sure if some of the buttons are stuck or what, since I don't have a manual and don't want to mess around too much. It has a musty smell; but that might be from the case (which is worn, but solid and latches properly). Anyone who collects and repairs old machines would probably enjoy this one. It is considered a well-built machine from Japan, from the 60's. This all to say, it is sold as "barely working" and no guarantees that it will when it arrives at your place. It is a fixer-upper! It's extremely heavy; pick up is encouraged but I will ship. I'll pack it with foam to keep it from moving around.
