The bowl is not white but a very dark beige color, and there is some white freckles and darker freckles in the beige colored surface, it is not uniformly the same color due to its age. The bird pattern remains lovely, and the patina is consistent with its age. There is a small hole in the bottom which can be seen in the pictures and some nibbles on one of the handles, also consistent with its age and price.
