If you want to make your own whisky/bourbon with natural flavour using the traditional way, then this pot still distillery kit is one of the best choices. The copper onion forces a pressure drop that helps separate more volatile components. Like the passive reflux, this is a small difference, but it should help achieve better separation, in theory. Batch distillation is somewhat inefficient by design in order to preserve more flavor congeners during each run. The still spirits alembic pot still condenser has better design with Lynn arm and cooling jacket, it is a good combination with the copper onion. The boiler is 35L/2300W Digi boiler with a heavy-duty stainless steel lid which comes with a thermometer and sight glass. You can use this lid and onion for running a reflux still condenser like still spirits T500 or alcoengine condensor. Please note the adaptor for pot still condenser will also fit for T500 condensor, so you don't need buy extra parts. The sight glass can run as a gin basket/thumper if you remove the copper scrubber/mesh. You have more choice to run this still for different purpose.
