Description: If this is your first or second time rebuilding the MS660 066 because the piston burnt up your not alone. Heat can damage the piston very quickly in a big bore saw with the stock cooling not being more than stock. So I made a solution to the big problem it's a copper plate mounted on the exhaust it sends heat out the side of the saw cooling the flange 100 degrees or more from stock. So If you have a after market muffler or porting or big piston things will last longer stay cooler and more power. This part mounts on the MS660 066 without any modifications. I also showed a photo of the porting on many of my saws this also makes more power and runs cooler. Try this cooling plate test it for your self, it might be the best thing that ever happened to your saw. "NOTE" I need to know if you have a stock head after market stock bore or a big bore head this plate bolts on to each different and I would like to make sure it fits your saw thanks. A added note your cooling plate will turn black after a few cuts this is a bad time to touch it. Also make sure it is matched to your port and in direct contact to the head.
