Description: Gorgeous Edwardian sterling silver flower basket. Made by Stieff in Baltimore in 1914. Cylindrical bowl flowing into spread foot; wide and flared oval mouth with sides "tugged in" by fixed scroll handle. Repousse flowers in well delineated relief with pell-mell buds and blooms and leaves on stippled ground. Mouth rim has applied scrolls and leaves. Handle has plain scrolled cartouche (vacant). Fully marked including maker's stamp, year, and no. 502. Overall dimensions: H 18 1/8 x W 14 3/8 x D 7 1/2 in. Weight: 44.5 troy ounces. #CA546
